Join Garden Club members on Wednesday, July 5th at 6;30 pm as they visit MJ Pilgrim’s garden located at 2034 Selwyn Rd., near the intersection of Selwyn Road and Buckhorn Road. Travel from Millbrook to Bridgenorth and proceed past the causeway. After exiting the town, turn left at County Road 20/Selwyn Road and follow 5km to number 2034. There is parking behind the house and the driveway is quite wide or park on the road. (See our Events Calendar for a map.)
MJ’s gardens are approximately 10 years in the making. She attempts to have only one of each type/cultivar, and the plants “never touch each other” although as the season extends, that’s a bit challenging! She travels the province looking for unique items like hardy cactus and different varieties of jack-in-the-pulpits to add to her collection. Everything is labelled for your viewing pleasure!
MJ has been President of the Peterborough Horticultural Society for 3 years and she is also a Master Gardener. Her enthusiasm is infectious and I can guarantee you will love her garden!
