One of several historic buildings that will be featured in the free walking tour hosted by the Millbrook and Area Historical Society after this month’s Farmers Market.

It was a cold, clear night on November 14th, 2022, but it was lovely and warm in the beautiful Millbrook Cathedral Lounge. Celia Hunter, President of the Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society welcomed everyone and presented an update and her president’s report. Celia highlighted some of the exciting speakers that would provide fireside chats in 2023, including local playwright and 4th Line Theatre founder Robert Winslow and author D’Arcy Jenish, among others, and the programming the MCHS is hoping to launch or re-launch in the coming year. One of the highlights of the Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society AGM was the displayed collection that Past President and Board Member Peter Ramsay brought for all to enjoy. The new Board of Directors will meet before the end of the year to determine strategic initiatives for the coming year.

The MCHS Board would like to extend sincere condolences to the family of Bruce Lepper, a cherished supporter and former Board member, who passed away in November. Bruce will be missed by all who knew him.
