Millbrook and Area Garden Club Goes Wild for Native Plants

Why not come for a tour with the Millbrook & Area Garden Club on Wednesday, August 7th at 6:30 p.m. when they will visit “GROW WILD! NATIVE PLANT NURSERY & ECOLOGICAL CONSULTING SERVICES” at #3784 Hwy 7 in Omemee.

Grow Wild! Nursery specializes in growing native trees and shrubs as well as native plants, wildflowers and herbs for contract growing and various sized plant restoration projects as well as public and private native plant gardens. Their plants are grown from seeds collected from local southern Ontario indigenous plants to ensure high survival rates. Grow Wild! also provides Landscape Design services which include installation of native trees, shrubs, plants, flowers and specialized gardens, ponds, shoreline restoration, drainage tile, stone work, patios, steps, retaining walls, fences, and turf removal. Ecological and biological consulting services are also available. As their motto says: “Grow Wild! is dedicated to increasing awareness about the importance of preserving and restoring our natural ecosystems and native plant populations.
