On Monday, October 20, under the bright glow of the new lights at Maple Leaf Park, members of Maple Leaf Cavan FC (MLCFC) proudly handed a cheque for $47,333 to Cavan-Monaghan council representatives John Fallis, Scott McFadden and Tim Belch. This payment is the second of three scheduled between 2013 and 2015 when the soccer club’s portion of the lighting costs will be repaid.
