Pictured are visitors to the Staples’s property where they saw modern production of that sweet syrup during the local maple event last month. Despite poor maple harvesting weather, the sun broke out for the event. More than 100 people dropped by Red Mill Maple Syrup’s location on Deyell Line, where they were treated to crepes and taffy made on snow. The event was a big success and is expected to be even bigger next year!
