As a youngster growing up in Russia, Boris Khaimovich was inspired by American cowboy movies. He was drawn to the freedom, the independence, the attitude that the protagonists represented. When he located to Canada with his family in 1974, he wound up in Toronto and for a time his dreams of country life were set aside.

Policy Regarding Letters to the Editor
We welcome the opinions of our readers in the form of letters to the editor. These must be no longer than 200 words and address a local issue, and include the writer’s name and address which must be local. Street addresses are not published.
