Lemonade Stand Operators Donate to Millbrook EarlyON

Seven year old Riley has occasionally operated a lemonade stand along with her younger brother Ryan in front of their home in Bailieboro. This fall, participating in the Millbrook/South Cavan Terry Fox run inspired this young entrepreneur to use her skills to help others like he did. After considering local organizations such as the Foodshare, Riley decided to direct her support to an organization she knew personally: the Old Millbrook School EarlyON Child and Family Centre. She and Ryan often visit the centre and enjoy participating in the wide variety of programs and activities offered to local families. Last month, the pair donated $52 to the organization. This is Riley’s way of saying thanks, and keep up the good work. Back at you, Riley!
