Learn to Curl at the Omemee Curling Centre

The Omemee Curling Centre is very excited to announce a new league this year. The LEARN TO CURL program is a fun, social way to learn this exciting game. Qualified instructors will show you how to throw a stone, what an “out turn” is, the proper way to sweep, and many more aspects of the game. There will be on ice instruction as well as off ice presentations. The program will begin, Monday’s from 7:30pm to 9pm, mid-October to December. Starting in January, you will take what you have learned and put it into practice. We will form you into teams and play fun, non-competitive games each week. “I think it’s a great, stress free, way to learn the game”, says Terry Ouellette, Membership chair. “For only $275, you get a whole season of curling and meet new friends”.

No need to rush home after the game as the lounge is open. Relax and enjoy a bit of social time, have a drink and a snack with your friends.

The Omemee Curling Centre is located just off the downtown square at 15 James St. Omemee, follow the signs from the main intersection. The Omemee Curling Centre offers leagues for all ages and skill levels. Come out and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and play the fastest growing sport in Canada.
