As the season changes, so do the wardrobes. Do you have gently used clothing that will no longer be useful next year? Are you looking to beef up your children’s closet with some new-to-them items? If so, you may be able to help the local family centre while you address your kids’ closet concerns by participating in their clothing swap next month.
Families are asked to drop off gently used, undamaged children’s clothing sizes 0-14 they want swapped to The Child and Family Centre between Tues. November 5th & Wed. November 20th during Program Hours. It would be helpful if the items were sorted by size on their arrival. Donors will receive one Ticket will be given per item of clothing upon drop off, which they can “spend” at the swap to “purchase new to them” clothing items. OMSFC staff will do their best but cannot guarantee that all tickets will be able to be used. Entrance to the swap event will be available with a voluntary donation to The Old Millbrook School Family Centre.
If you would like to participate but don’t have any clothing to “swap”, you are still able to purchase clothing at the event.
