Kawartha Quilting and Sewing has Moved

A retirement paved the way for the Kawartha Quilting and Sewing to relocate to a new facility. This month, the shop moved to Bethany to the former location of another quilt shop with its own parking, lots of space and a separate building formerly housing a United Church.

Phillipa Skjaveland is delighted with the space and light in their new shop, which has allowed the business to expand their offerings to include Bernina and Brother sewing machines and a wide selection of quilting fabric and all things necessary to complete a unique sewing project.  A separate room will allow ample space for classes and the high ceilings and railings offer great display space.  The pandemic has sparked new interest in the craft, and this family business is ready to provide inspiration and expertise to the new, as well as the experienced quilter.
