JC Farmhouse Flowers

Judy Clements and Jenelle LaFonte are the creative partners behind JC Farmhouse Flowers that operates on Morton Line.

In 2022, Judy Buck-Clements decided to try her hand in a fresh flower business. She operates out of a large steel outbuilding near the back of her family property on Morton Line, calling it JC Farmhouse Flowers.

It is an evolving business, as she expands her product offerings to include gifts and apparel including custom shirts with her business partner Jenelle LaFonte. Interest has been growing in this part of the business, and they are currently creating custom shirts for a local business. They create sweatshirts and t-shirts featuring local business logos, whimsical messages and apparel featuring Millbrook and Cavan Monaghan. There is also a selection of hats which can be customized.

Judy purchases fresh flowers from a distributor in Bethany from which she creates custom arrangements such as wedding bouquets and boutonnieres and seasonal arrangements for special events. For some applications, she chooses silk flowers, which are often used in arrangements for cemeteries. Judy is always on the hunt for unusual containers for her displays, finding small vases and baskets a retail and thrift shops which make her arrangements feel unique.

This energetic pair seem to be up for a challenge, so these days Judy is experimenting with embroidery which will extend their custom apparel product options.

The business is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 am until 4pm and closes at 2pm on Saturday. They are also available by appointment.

To learn more about this business, visit JC Farmhouse Flowers on Facebook, call  Judy at 705-741-9659 or drop by the shop at 506 Morton Line, but be prepared: the driveway is almost half a kilometer long.
