Council endorsed the recommendation presented to them by the Director of Public Works, Wayne Hancock on Monday, May 4 to award the Watermain Replacement contract to Carchidi Excavating Ltd as the lower of two bidders, but to postpone the work until April-May, 2016. The recommendation specifies a completion date of “no later than June 8, 2016”, but subject to “weather permitting”. Council also approved an additional $130,000. for the project.
Policy Regarding Letters to the Editor
