Rising country music star Jade Eagleson in Nashville.

On June 2nd, Jade Eagleson will be on stage again at the Golden Wheel restaurant in Springville in support of a mission by the youth group from Centreville Presbyterian Church.

Next February, a group of twelve young people will head to the Dominican Republic to join members of the Samaritan Foundation to help build and paint cement block houses.  This organization has been working in this country for more than two decades, building complete villages to provide communities in extreme poverty with access to shelter, education, church facilities and medical treatment.

Jade grew up around the corner from this church, and is pleased to lend a helping hand to his neighbours.  They are delighted to have him provide his extensive talents in support of their cause.

Among other music awards, Eagleson picked up the Emerging Artist title at the popular country music festival Boots and Hearts near Barrie last summer, where well-known artists such as Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan have graced the stage.

Golden Wheel owner Susan Tung is pleased to have Jade back in their venue, where he has performed many times and is a crowd favourite.

“We’re thrilled to have Jade Eagleson play on stage again,” she explains. “The first time he played here at an Open Mic, I still remember seeing everyone’s mouths wide open in astonishment. Not only has Jade been wonderful to work with as an artist, but he is such a positive influence and representative of this community. Everyone is very excited to watch him perform again – especially my mom!”

Tickets for the event are available from Carolyn 705-932-2958 $15 in advance, and $18 at the door. KG
