Graduation ceremonies for the 2023 Recruit Course NFPA 1001 Firefighter Level I & II were held at the Eastern Ontario Emergency Training Academy (EOETA) in Norwood.
The Township of Cavan Monaghan Fire Department had five recruits graduating from the course this year. They attended classes on weekends from beginning of January to mid-June followed by provincial certification testing.
