Farmers’ Market Opens This Sunday With COVID-19 Safety Measures

The Millbrook Farmers’ Market will open its 2020 season this Sunday, June 28 at the Old Millbrook School parking lot, 1 Dufferin Street.  We will be open from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  When you arrive, you will find a different set-up this season.  We will have in place several COVID-related safety measures as required by our local health unit.  There will be new signage and volunteers on hand to help you get around easily.

While we may look and feel different this year, we will still have a wonderful selection of local fresh delicious foods.  Over 20 vendors will be attending on Sunday, including four new ones – Belly of the Beast (kombucha), Birdsong Orchards (dried fruit, elderberry juice, birdseed), Littleleaf Farms (microgreens) and Wildflower Bakery.

During the pandemic, we encourage shoppers to pre-order and pre-pay by directly contacting our vendors ahead of time through our website at www.millbrookfarmersmarket.weebly.com.  Also, if you have not seen the “How to Shop at the Market” guidelines, please read them on our website prior to coming.

We have had to eliminate customer parking in the market area to make way for physical distancing and there will be no public access to the Old School building.

The Millbrook Farmers’ Market will continue to operate on the 4th Sunday of each month until October.  Our July market takes place on Sunday, July 26.  We thank you all for your cooperation and support as we bring you another great season of local farmers’ markets!
