The big news on the street this week is that Jeff Muzzin and Bonnie McQuarrie have moved in together! Circa has moved in with Bethany Hills Interiors into the rear section of Bear Essentials on a temporary basis until their new location on King Street is ready for occupancy. Part of this transition involves the forging of a new identity for Circa Antiques. It’s not a complete transformation but more like a revision. The new name “Circa Home Décor” better reflects Jeff’s business, which includes the retail sale of reworked furniture and artifacts, but also includes custom designs of signature pieces that can make a room pop. Jeff is known for his flair for reviving and repurposing authentic, vintage pieces in a sometimes surprising and modern way but wants to expand the custom part of his business where he designs and builds pieces for a specific space. After a variety of careers including construction and retail, Jeff enjoys the independence of running his own business. He is now able to flex his creative muscle preserving pieces of history but in ways that are not confined by tradition…
