The Old Millbrook School EarlyON Child and Family Centre is planning another Children’s Clothing Swap Event for the spring. The Swap begins on Sunday May 3, 2026 from9:00am – 12:00pm, and the clothing will be set up and available to browse through and make selections from until Thursday May 7th during their program hours. The address is, The Old Millbrook School, 1 Dufferin Street, Millbrook.
As in the past swaps, they will accept clean, gently used clothing for children 0- 6 years from April 19th to Sunday May 3rd during their program hours at The Old Millbrook School. It is requested that donations are not left outside the building or the doors to the program rooms. The event will be set up again upstairs in the Dorothy Stevens Room.
There have been a few revisions to the way the swap will be run in addition to having multiple days to choose the clothing. While The OMSFC welcomes cash donations for their Organization for the duration of The Swap, families will be able to fill a bag each time they pop into the Swap for no fee. Nancy Hurley, The Managing Director shares why this change was made. “Families everywhere are having an increasingly challenging time making their monthly budgets balance and we wanted this Clothing Swap to be a fun way without barriers to any family to access upcycled clothing for their children. As a community, we believe it is our responsibility to support one and other whenever possible, and this event is one way in which we can offer that support in addition to creating a chance for us to connect as a community.
Please mark May 3rd in your calendars and let your friends and family know about this great community event.
