Community Benefit Dance Raises Almost $4000 for Local Family

Last month, Compass Early Learning hosted a benefit dance for one of their clients, Rebecca de Waard, who early this year suffered a severe car accident.  Seventy-five people attended the event, which featured a silent auction and more than 20 raffle basket prizes all donated by family members and local businesses. The event raised almost $4000 for the family and having Rebecca and her family there made this event even more memorable. Where there is a sense of caring there is a sense of community.

As an organization Compass believes that a vibrant community fosters social responsibility, wellbeing and belonging.  The organization is grateful every day to be a part of Millbrook and to engage and connect with all people in this community.

Compass Early Learning graciously thanks all those who attended, dropped off money and prizes, and purchased tickets. Special thanks to the Legion for opening its doors, the band 4 Front,  The Pastry Peddler, Moody’s, Home Hardware, Foodland, 4th Line Theatre, Deb Stanton, Kobe Sports, Nadeau’s Collision, Finn’s House of Music, Baxter Creek, Canadian Tire, Chapters, Keystone Links, Linda Landry, Leda Fulford, Flowers by Fern, Horse Discovery –Cheri Davidson, Nexicom, The Jones’, Doo Doo’s Bakery, Bewdley’s Pizza, Elmhirst Resort, the Fallis family and Sticklings Bakery.
