City of Kawartha Lakes Seeks Input on Maintenance Standards on Unassumed and Private Roadways

The City of Kawartha Lakes is currently undergoing a comprehensive review of maintenance standards for unassumed and private roadways. As part of the review, a second Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 9am – 11am at Coronation Hall, 1 King St W, Omemee.

The PIC will be an informal open house and will provide residents with information on maintenance standards including limited service agreements, and potential alternatives. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the members of the study team, ask questions and provide comments. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate.

If you are unable to attend the PIC and wish to provide your views, you may write to rporter@city.kawarthalakes.on.ca.

We are interested in hearing your comments. Any comments and information from the PIC will be collected to assist the City of Kawartha Lakes in this comprehensive review. The material will be maintained on file for use during the review and may be included in study documentation. With the exception of personal information, all comments and information will become part of the public record.

For further information, please contact: Rodney Porter, Manager of Maintenance East Area, at (705) 324-9411 Ext. 3587 or by email at rporter@city.kawarthalakes.on.ca. KG
