Homemade Christmas Gingerbread
Millbrook and District Food Share volunteers are getting organized for this year’s Christmas Hamper program which distributes hampers each year to local families. Hampers are prepared for registered recipients and includes non-perishable food items, fresh local produce, a grocery voucher from Foodland and Walmart vouchers for each child in the family.
Hampers are only provided to those who register. Registration takes place from November 1 to November 30 – to register, leave a message at 705 932 7066 or in person at the food share during regular hours.
Please ensure you include the number of children in the family as well as their ages. If you miss the registration deadline, please come to the scheduled Food Share day on December 14, 2021.
Hampers will be available for pick up on December 14 at the Food Share during regular hours.
Please note that due to the hamper distribution on the 14th, the regularly scheduled second Tuesday food share date will be moved ahead one week to December 7th.
