Staff at the Old Millbrook School EarlyON Child and Family Centre are hosting a warm up event for Canada day with a multicultural pot luck lunch on Thursday June 27, running from 10:30am – 2:00pm with lunch starting at 11 am. The event is designed to honour the various cultures that make up the diverse fabric of our great nation. Families are invited to make a dish to share that is traditional to their culture if they wish. All food consumed at the centre must be nut free. Participants might also consider bringing a blanket to sit on, sunscreen and hats and beverages. The mud kitchen behind the school will be open and there will be other outdoor activities that day. Come to the celebration at The Old Millbrook School located at 1 Dufferin Street in Millbrook.
