I am running for the position of Councillor for Cavan Ward.
I am proud to have lived in Cavan Monaghan for the past 47 years where I have raised my two children. In that time I have owned and operated several businesses, Dennis Moore Auto Repair which together with my late husband, we ran successfully for more than two decades.
After a brief retirement I opened another business, Bridget Anastasia’s Gifts & Home Decor which I ran for over six years before selling it in 2015. I still maintain a small cow/calf operation and spend as much time as possible with my three beautiful Granddaughters. Like the rest of you, I have been and continue to be a taxpayer in Cavan Monaghan and care deeply about this community.
I believe with my business experience I am the right person to help our Township grow by bringing good paying jobs to Cavan Monaghan while maintaining our agricultural heritage.
I feel we need to develop our already zoned industrial land, while fighting to keep it. We need partnerships with our neighbours.
I would work with the County to bring an ambulance base to be built along with the already proposed fire station adding to the safety of all our citizens. I’m committed to providing value for your tax dollars.
Vote for me on Oct. 22nd and give me the opportunity to help make this Township a place where our children and grandchildren can grow and prosper for generations to come.
