Cavan Chiropractic is moving to a newly renovated clinic space in the village on King St. West.
Four years ago, Dr. Taylor Bonner took over the Chiropractic practice of Dr. Larry Smith who was retiring after 37 years of practice.
The transition was seamless: Taylor moved into the location on the lower level of the Smith home on Tapley ¼ Line in Cavan, joined by Registered Massage Therapist Hayley Smith.
The pandemic forced the doors to close for a while, but since the re-opening, business has been booming, particularly for massage therapy. This surge in demand seems to be happening across the region, as people take a more pro-active approach to self-care, including services previously viewed as indulgences such as massages.
As both practitioners are in early stages of their career, they have plenty of run-room, so Taylor decided that rather than send customers to Peterborough practitioners, it was time to find more space to accommodate a larger practic

This month, Cavan Chiropractic will relocate to 13 King St. West in Millbrook. The larger facility offers plenty of room for more staff and even more services. Dr. Bonner will be joined by Dr. Shannon Kelly of Bonniespring Family Chiropractic in Millbrook, doubling the chiropractic capacity. Hayley Smith will be joined by three more RMTs: Carron Concepcion, Kelsey Andrew and Adrianne Colby will be providing massage therapy at the new location. There are also plans to add physiotherapy to the growing list of health care related services, which will dovetail nicely with the current offerings.
The new location has been treated from top to toe with an extensive renovation, and the former residential back yard has been transformed into a parking lot for customers, who will enter through a rear door.
