Work to Begin on Treatment Plant Upgrade

Celia Hunter   Work on the expansion and improvement to the Millbrook Wastewater Treatment Plant is one step closer after Council approved the recommendation by Director of Public Works Wayne Hancock to award the contract for upgrading the facility to Maple Reinders Constructors Limited of Mississauga.

Celia Hunter   Former Millbrook Ward councillor Fern Armstrong has filed nomination papers, putting her name forward for the position of Deputy-Mayor of Cavan Monaghan Township. Also in the running for Deputy Mayor is the current mayor, John Fallis.

Celia Hunter   Cavan Monaghan Libraries bids farewell to Stephanie Cann at the end of this week. Stephanie has been with the Libraries, first on an 18-month contract at the Bruce Johnston Branch and then a 12-month contract at the Millbrook Branch for a total of 30 months.
