Brown-Eyed Susan Chip truck is open for business.

After a four year hiatus, customers were delighted to see life return to the popular food truck in the heart of Bailieboro when Kim Johnston re-opened Brown-Eyed Susan Chip truck last month.  Voted the Best Chip Truck in Ontario by the Globe and Mail in 2021, describing the chips as “thick-cut, skin-on and, most importantly, plentiful”.   Thankfully, nothing in that description has changed.  They also offer a variety of food truck fare such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and of course, poutine.

Located at 200 County Rd. 28 across from another favourite food haunt- Doo Doo’s, the business is open Thursday through Saturday from 11 am until 7 pm and Sundays until 6pm.  French fry aficionados may want to conduct their own taste comparisons by sampling fare from other local chip trucks including Myla’s Little Munchies located in Cavan in the parking lot behind the cannabis shop and TNT Taterz at Pinto’s Corners.  KG
