It has been a few years since we’ve seen Wayne Blaby coaching Atom hockey teams in the Millbrook arena, but his involvement with this sport is far from over- he has just moved up in management. As a coach, Wayne was a long time participant in the Liftlock Atom Tournament held every January in Peterborough. He began to volunteer at the tournament when he hung up his coaching skates in 1999, becoming a Director of the organizing committee in 2002.
