Applications Welcome for Conservation Scholarship

The Otonabee Conservation Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2016 “Conservation Foundation McCulloch Scholarship” from graduating high school students pursuing post-secondary education in an environmental field.

The $500.00 cash award is presented to a graduating student having demonstrated leadership in conservation or environmental projects and planning to pursue post-secondary education in an environmental course of study.

Applications are welcome until Wednesday, June 1, 2016, from students attending a high school located within the Otonabee Region watershed. Students can find more information about the award and download the application form from the Otonabee Conservation Foundation website at www.otonabee.com/foundation.

The Conservation Foundation McCulloch Scholarship was established in memory of the late Mary Margaret (McCulloch) Edison in recognition of her deep interest in conservation and the environment.

The Otonabee Conservation Foundation (OCF) is a volunteer organization established in 1968 as a registered, charitable public foundation. The OCF provides local citizens the opportunity to support the important conservation related activities of Otonabee Conservation.
