Mark your calendars for a night of laughter for a cause on Thursday, October15, as two top Ontario comedians take the stage in support of local non-profit The Kibble Project.
Comedy Night in Millbrook in support of The Kibble Project will take place at Millbrook Royal Canadian Legion Branch 402 with doors opening at 7pm for an 8pm show.
The show is co-headlined by Laurie Elliott, a comedy veteran with credits including CBC’s The Debaters, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Red Green Show, and more. The other featured headliner is Leonard Chan, with credits including Just For Laughs, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and more.
The Kibble Project is a local non-profit based in The Kawartha Lakes that procures animal food and supplies it to shelters and pet food banks across the province.
“Laughter is such a great tool to support these amazing causes” says Jay Ellis, operator of Do Something Comedy, who are producing the event. “I’ve seen firsthand the impact across the province that The Kibble Project has made and am so excited that we have such great comedians on board to give back.”
All profits from the event will be donated directly to The Kibble Project. For tickets, visit DoSomethingComedy.Eventbrite.ca.
