During the months of July and August, leaders of the Millbrook Christian Assembly are once again focused on building bridges with families in the community, offering a free event every Wednesday morning. The program runs from 10 am until noon at Harvest Park, which is adjacent to the church at 71 King St. West in Millbrook.
Each week activities are based on a theme, from water games to a visit from critters from Zoo to You. There are two dates remaining in the activities: on August 12th the theme will be a treasure hunt and the final event takes place on August 26th where there will be some outdoor Olympics. There is no event on A Pastor Bobby Van Engen leads a game of musical “chairs” with participants at MCA’s Wednesday in the Park last month, August 19th.
To keep energy up, there are snacks and freezies for the children and coffee-iced and hot- for the adults. Thanks for the generosity of Pastors Kathleen and Bobby Van Engen for funneling their time and energy in delivering another free, fun, family activity.
