Watson Provision is a new venture, where Watson is applying her creativity to something quite personal: a family tradition of simple, tasty and nutritious food.
Family meals at the family farm in Douro inspired this new business, which celebrates the Watson family’s five generation of famers in Douro. In the kitchen, nothing was wasted, everything had a purpose and flavour came from real, recognizable ingredients. The business is built on the belief that good food doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be made well. What started as personal recipes, shaped over years of cooking for family, learning from mothers and grandmothers, and feeding a growing household, became something worth sharing. The tradition is built on simple, no fuss ingredients and recipes that earned their place on the table through generations of family meals, whether they are quick, weeknight meals or dishes destined to celebrate family gatherings. No superfluous ingredients and consistent, tasty and nourishing results.
Today, Watson Provisions makes pantry staples that bring that same standard into everyday life. From seasonings to market treats, everything is made with care, built for real kitchens, and meant to be reached for again.
The product list is not extensive but includes everyday ingredients that home cooks rely on. Oats seasoned with a trace of sugar and salt, soft, chewy ginger cookies sweetened with molasses. There are also hand-packaged spice blends: a sweet and spicy BBQ rub for pork, ribs, burgers, potatoes or grilled vegetables, and a Mexican Seasoning blend to spice up tacos, fajitas, ground beef, chicken or roasted vegetables.
