Welcome to Sage & Soul Collective: Millbrook’s Newest Wellness Business

Pictured are Sage & Soul Collective founders Amanda Willet and Missy Gurley inside their new wellness-inspired business which opened last week on Union St. across from Canada Post’s parking area.

The empty store front on Union St. across from the Post Office parking lot is finally open with an exciting new venture.

Founded by Millbrook residents Amanda Willet and Missy Gurley, this space features a new wellness, café, retail, and community destination which opened last week. The focus is on wellness and all products and services serve this objective.

The front of the venue offers retail items including superfood lattees , tea and botanical beverages, smoothies, Nourish bowls and wellness elixirs, vegan and gluten-free items for grab and go or to enjoy inside or on the porch. There are also curated collections of spa wear, purses and jewelry produced by Canadian artisans.

Behind the retail activities is a space where they will offer yoga and movement classes, mind-body wellness classes, workshops featuring holistic health advisors and community events focused on wellness.

The Café features elevated café offerings including botanical drinks, adaptogen wellness beverages, charcuterie-inspired graze boxes, artisan pastries, and the highly anticipated LOCKS & LAYERS™ collection – “A Taste of the Kawarthas,” featuring signature layered charcuterie cups with a sweet secret inspired by the Kawarthas and Trent-Severn Waterway.

This is just the beginning for this energetic pair. They also plan to offer spa sessions including a 5-sensory sauna experience, esthetic services and other wellness offerings designed to create a unique destination experience in the region.

Inside the space is lovely. Founders Amanda Willett and Missy Gurley explain that their vision for the business “was to create a space that feels warm, beautiful, intentional, and welcoming – a place where people can slow down, gather, recharge, and experience well-ness in a more accessible and community-centered way.”

In addition to supporting local makers and artisans, Sage & Soul Collective™ is also focused on contributing to local economic development by creating employment opportunities, collaborative partnerships, tourism experiences, and community programming within Millbrook and the surrounding Kawarthas region.

Sage & Soul Collective is currently welcoming guests Tuesday through Saturday and invites the community to stop in, explore the space, enjoy the café, shop local makers, and experience this exciting new addition to downtown Millbrook.
