The Millbrook and Cavan Historical Society is pleased to host members of Millbrook Branch 402 of the Royal Canadian Legion in celebration of the centenary of the Legion on Thursday May 14th, 7 pm at the Legion Hall, 9 King St East, Millbrook.
Join us to hear about the origins of the Legion both nationally as well as locally. From providing support to veterans and their families, supporting many charitable causes, and serving as a hub for social life the Legion has been an important fixture in this area for decades.
We`ll be happy to hear your stories of dances, darts, receptions, speech competitions and whatever other stories you would like to share.
Special bonus is a guest appearance by the Cobourg Pipe Band!
