On Tuesday April 29, 2025, Millbrook Community Care celebrated their volunteers at an event hosted by Baxter Creek Golf Club.

Staff treated the visitors royally, and the day was exceptional. Among the volunteers recognized for their years of dedication were: Lois Greiger, Steve Chilton, Ronald Larmer & Gina Wallace for two years of service; Trudy Langenberg, Jeff Stewart and Derek Brown for five years of service; Timmi Brady, Josie Aubrey, George Corfe, Millie Lunn and Ralph Larmer for ten years of service; Nancy Whitmore and Linda Allair for 15 years of service. Paulette Harrigan received special recognition for her years of dedication to the organization.

The event featured a personal, heartfelt thanks offer by David Williams, a grateful client of the organization. Congratulations and thank you to all volunteers who help deliver the extensive services offered by this critical organization that supports the health and well-being of seniors and adults with physical challenges to help them live independently in their home. With an energetic group of more than 60 volunteers, they serve almost 400 local clients with friendly visiting calls, meals, grocery deliveries, home maintenance and transportation services, providing the equivalent work of more than six full time staff. Our seniors and their families are in your debt.
