Megan Murphy and Kate Suhr are together again in this Christmas production.
This season the 4th Line theatre has partnered with Verandah Society members Kate Suhr and Megan Murphy who have created a holiday program they’re calling “The Verandah Society: Up to Snow Good”.
The production is directed by 4thLine Theatre’s Kim Blackwell enjoys collaborating with Megan and their experiences in previous productions facilitates the development of the action on stage.
Megan’s stories are enhanced by original and re-interpreted music by Kate Suhr, and the action on stage is rounded out with the appearance of young actors Poppy Alderson, Kinsley Curry, Alex Hodson and Ellie McNamara of Peterborough’s Theatre Arts Training Academy (TATA).
The program will feature festive stories and songs that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit. There will be heartwarming and humorous original storytelling, foot tapping music with inspiring vocals, surprise special guests, and that magical feeling that happens when people gather in a theatre to share and be entertained.
There will be a total of seven evening and matinee performances running from Wednesday, December 11th to Sunday, December 15th and will be presented at the Peterborough Theatre Guild at 364 Rogers Street in Peterborough. No performances will take place at the Winslow Farm.
