2019 County Recognition Award Recipients Acknowledged

Congratulations to the six residents and organizations that were selected by their community for their service to the community.

The Peterborough Curling Club was recognized for its contribution to accessibility improvements in the County, Pat Taylor of Taylor Made Signs was acknowledge as a local business leader, the Millbrook Gallery was recognized for demonstrating a commitment to the arts, Matthew Greber was selected as this year’s Youth award recipient for his work with Millbrook Minor Hockey, Alan Bigelow’s agricultural leadership was also recognized, and Marion Guthrie was selected as the Volunteer of the year.

Established in 1992, the County Recognition Awards recognizes County residents each year in a variety of leadership categories, acknowledging their extraordinary contributions to our community. KG
