The Novice League at the Peterborough Curling Club celebrated Curling day in Canada with its annual Bonspiel on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The event theme was “Dream Vacation” and was sponsored by K and J Travel. Curlers came from Brighton Curling Club, Port Perry Curling Club and Peterborough Golf and Country Club. All curlers enjoyed a themed lunch put on by Stonehouse Hall that included food from around the world. First place winners were Ian Burns, Pat Maitland, Jeff Wickware and Tammie Wickware. Second place went to Phil Giroux, Andy Wachon, Glen Jones and Jamie Rowe. Third place went to Oliver Fuchs, Ken Shedden, Angie Fuchs, and Tina Shedden.
