At County Council last week, the Township of Cavan Monaghan requested that the County reconsider its decision to charge the township for delivering polystyrene it collects at the transfer station to the Pido Road disposal and recycling depot. The County recently proposed a $1500 charge to the township for this service. Individuals can drop polystyrene off at no charge.
