HOGG; Tony Leigh Vernon ~ With broken hearts we said goodbye to our cherished son Tony, Feb 13 at 5pm in his 29th year. He went peacefully at home surrounded by his family and beloved dog after a brave fight with Multiple sclerosis. He is free now and off to the next place without disease and suffering, his beautiful soul touched all who knew him and will surround us forever. Tony is survived by his loving parents Greg and Cheri, brother Travis and Sarah, his niece Kennedy and nephew Cohen, and his dog Sally. Aunts and Uncles- Donna (Brian), Larry (Leanor), Brenda (Murray), Randy (Jeannette), Bonnie (Paul), Mike (Catherine), Vern, Kim, Jim (Christina) Michelle (Todd) and many cousins and friends. Waiting for Tony are Grandma Elsie Hogg, Grandpa Ed Hogg, Nana Jan Wilson, Grandpa Bob Wilson, Uncle Eddie Hogg and Uncle Sean Hogg and some good friends that left too soon. A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at the Millbrook Christian Assembly (71 King St West) on Thursday Feb 23 from 4 to 7 pm. Tony requested casual dress. A spring internment will take place at the Fraserville Cemetery.
A heartfelt thank you to the PSW’s from We Care and KPP , the nurses from VON, CCAC staff, MS Society, Lions Club, Millbrook Fire Fighters, Dr. Whiting and the palliative team , and all family and friends who helped and supported Tony and family. In Memory of Tony donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
