This Month at Your Libraries

Toonie Tuesday Movie happens on March 6th at 6:30pm with the film called Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.  This award-winning movie describes the events that occur in a small town.  After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby, the town’s revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Dixon, an immature mother’s boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing’s law enforcement is only exacerbated.

Come, meet Hal! March Break activities focus around animals! We are going to the dogs (and other animals) this year for the March Break. Hal from the Peterborough Police Canine Unit will drop by the Bruce Johnston Branch on Thursday, March 15th at 11am. Crittervisits.ca will be ringing a selection of critters to the Millbrook Branch on Friday, March 16th at 10am.

On March 25th at 2pm we join forces with Centennial Place to host another Easter Eggstravaganza.  See details in the ad on page 20.

On March 28th (Millbrook) and 29th (Bruce Johnston) library staff will host Computer/Tech workshops to help you find those extra details, interviews and reports you hear about on news casts and radio programs when they sign off with the direction to go to their website for more information.

Here it is again- for more information, visit the library website at www.cavanmonaghanlibraries.ca.
