The Maple Leaf Cavan Football Club, as it is now called, was founded in the 1980’s. With 400 registered players back in 2007, it has now swelled to more than three times that size with roughly around 1,350 registrants this year.The club’s impressive success is all thanks to the united efforts of the community to support this sport and recreational activity in the area.
