Patrick Benson Moves on after Transition Period for New Owners of Benson Shields Funeral Homes
This December, Bill Shields and Gwen Hogg celebrated their first year as owners of Benson Shields Funeral Homes. During this transition, former owner Patrick Benson has provided ongoing support as funeral director and introduced Bill to the community. For Gwen, the community needed no introduction. Bill is now well integrated, having joined the Legion as well as the Downtown Revitalization Committee and is putting his own mark on this traditional business that has served this community for decades.
Patrick will now focus on his other growing business interests and of course, his family. We look forward to seeing these new ventures flourish. KG
