Cathy Meehan is a big fan of Millbrook and a new face at Centennial Place. Cathy moved into the Office Manager position this past January and has settled in well. She enjoys coming into the village to work and to shop and browse through the shops downtown.
Cathy describes her work at Centennial Place as “a little bit of a lot of things,” which includes managing accounts. She has worked with seniors all her professional life and values them highly. “I have great respect for seniors, ” she says, “they have paid their dues to society. Let them be pampered!”
Cathy came to Centennial Place from her position as manager of seniors’ social housing in Cobourg. She is enthusiastic and full of praise for her new workplace, and notes, as a performance by the New Horizons band, The Dynamics, begins before a packed house of residents in the Fireside Lounge, that she looks forward to the entertainment. There always seems to be something interesting or exciting going on at Centennial Place!
