Pictured is Bev Hilditch receiving a donation from Steve Suszko on behalf of David Tong of Millbrook Pharmacy. The $1000 will support of the children in Belize, with half of the money directed towards children’s school fees and the remainder to fund the planting of fruit trees at Catholic, Anglican, Methodist and Garifuna schools. All funds donated to the Belize Project are utilized in support of the children in Belize, as volunteer participants cover their own expenses. This year, Maureen Harjula will join the group on their annual trip to share her expertise as a school counselor with the teachers in Belize.
