Mill Update

The Save the Mill group expect the local icon to be moved to its new site between October 3^rd and 6^th. The process will take three days, and the schedule is tentative due to the commitments of the moving company, which has been tied up relocating school portables over the past few weeks. Once the building is in place, the group must fulfill several requirements by ORCA who is the current owner, before they “hand over the keys”, at least metaphorically. Entrance to the actual building is currently prohibited and is expected to remain so. A celebration of the relocation will be scheduled after that, so the community can pat themselves and this group on the back for achieving the unthinkable, or so many thought. Not many hurdles left, now!
