Medicinal Herbalist Kerry Hackett Comes to Millbrook Garden Club

Gardeners interested in expanding their knowledge of the varied nature and uses of herbs can join the Millbrook and Area Garden club on Wednesday, May 3rd to hear a presentation from well-known herb expert Kerry Hackett. With more than two decades of experience in the field, Kerry is a certified Master Gardener with a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Lancashire (UK), she is also a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (UK) and the American Herbalists Guild. She is currently studying towards a Doctorate in Health.

The presentation will focus on Endangered Herbs and Ethical Wildcrafting. Kerry grows many of her own herbs and will bring some of her herbal products that will be available for purchase.

The meeting begins at 7:30 pm in the St. Thomas Church Hall, located at 16 Centre Street in Millbrook. Attendees are asked to park in the rear parking lot and come with a mug for complimentary beverages. The cost of admission is $3.00. KG
