This Walnut and Maple end table demonstrates John Ireland’s trademark interplay of different woods.

Studios and galleries will be open Saturday September 23 and Sunday September 24, from 10 am to 5 pm to display a rich diversity of arts and crafts, including painting, encaustic, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, jewellery, glass, metal, wood, and ceramics. This is a self-drive tour and admission is free to all locations.

Among the featured artists and artisans is John Ireland, whose studio on Zion Line is Stop 38 in the lineup.  Working in wood, John mixes live edge techniques in walnut  and maple. His furniture is an investigation into an integrated composition, highlighting the interplay between the two woods.
