Susan Chan the Native Pollinator Program Manager for the Farms at Work organization was at the Old Millbrook School last Wednesday evening to offer her broad expertise to local landowners on how to enhance the attractiveness of their properties to native bee pollinators. As an executive member of the Central Ontario Beekeepers Association, and academic credentials from McGill, Guelph and Western in Biology, agriculture and education, Sue is known a “bee expert”. During the two hour workshop, her commitment and respect for these creatures and their significant role in environmental sustainability was very evident.
