Occasionally an observant teacher catches a glimpse of an undiscovered possibility inside one of their students. Larry Kealey, a teacher at the former Millbrook High School, had such an experience. His insight was keen but his timing was off. One day in the hall Larry approached his student Chris Jones who was surrounded by his buddies and suggested he consider becoming
a writer. In typical teenage fashion, Chris dismissed the very uncool suggestion and forgot about it… for a while.
