Cavan Monaghan Libraries – Celebrate Canada 150!

This year marks 150 years of Confederation, and with the entire country celebrating, the Cavan Monaghan Libraries are joining in the festivities. The Summer Reading Program, organized this year by Camryn Neilson, is taking the idea of celebrating Canada to heart, and is being designed specifically around our great nation. Each week the programing is taking inspiration from a different Canadian province or group of provinces, leading the participants on a journey across Canada, from the West coast of British Columbia to the East coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, and everywhere in between.

Between the Summer Reading Program and the Tutoring Program (which is now completely full) it is going to be a busy summer at the Cavan Monaghan Libraries. Activities will happen at both branches Tuesdays through Fridays, with the Summer Kick-Off Party happening July 4th at 11:00am at the Bruce Johnston Branch. There will be crafts and games and delicious treats, a perfect way to start off what looks to be an exciting summer full of activities for kids of all ages!
